After some research on a couple sites, all of them say that Evian doesn’t use a lot of purification methods. They use the grounds sand and clay to filter their water. The spring water comes from a source in the northern French Alps. The water is collected from an aquifer; it uses snowmelt and rainfall from the mountains. Then it goes through the earth’s sand and clay; no other purifying process is used to produce the bottled water. I however, do not believe that they don’t use any other filtration system. I think they add a couple chemicals that are potentially harmful if not diluted properly. I honestly don’t like water at all, I drink it sometimes but I use tap water or water from our Brita filter because I know that the water wasn’t produced in some factory with a bunch of chemicals. My tap water doesn’t taste like bottled water which is okay because I can taste the chemicals they put into the water and it makes my stomach feel funky. I think that bottled water companies are hiding what really goes into the bottled water like Evian bottled water, Dasani, Nestle and many more. News reporters and investigators should actually do a documentary on how bottled water is made and get the real deal and not hide the truth. Expose the water companies (:
I think drinking rain water is not clean water because pollutants in the cloud, soil insect parts, bacteria and algae, but if you filter it and then boiled you could drink the water safely.
There are diseases on the water that contaminated by human or animal faeces. Drinking dirty water is not safe. Be careful of what you are drinking. Even if it is a clear water there are some chemical in it.
